"Was a lovely well needed date night with my husband while my parents were visiting from the UK. Fantastic property with really high end features. I gave 4 for the online description as the stairs in the property are steep & very deep which was fine for us but may be tricky for some folk. Will definitely try & stay there again! "We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property."
