"We loved Space Cowboys. It was quirky and fun and family friendly. The hammocks were a favorite for my family. We watched the sunset from there each evening. I underestimated the steepness of the climb to Pod 12, but we handled it just fine, especially with the atv service to help with luggage. We loved having Dingus come by to say hello. He was friendly and playful. The location was nice and quiet, and it wasn't far from town when we needed to buy things."

"Got in and set up camp easily enough. Directions on VRBO to the site were incorrect but the owner messaged us and let us know. Bathroom was in good condition which was nice. Wish the campsite fire was in better condition and that there was more of a flat area for setting up the tent and wish there was a table to use. Good overall though and close to the park. "

"Wonderful stay with Jim! Easy check-in, beautiful property, and prime access to Big Bend. A/C was out due to power issues on the property, but Jim did his best to ensure that we were comfortable throughout the stay, even offering an additional day free-of-charge. I decided on a book instead! Because we had to keep the windows/doors open for ventilation, it got pretty buggy inside, but it's kinda what you'd expect (1) being in nature and (2) leaving the windows/doors open for 48 hours. Kitchen is basic, but has most of the necessities (a stove, cutlery, plates, glasses). I still had a wonderful time!"
