 This rare lakeside end-unit condominium is located less than two miles west of downtown Big Bear Lake which makes it easy to get around town and down the mountain.  The large open backyard lakefront is perfect for sledding, building snowmen, and having snowball fights.

For skiing and snowboarding, this complex is just a short 10- to 15-minute drive to southern California’s three most popular ski resorts; Snow Summit, Bear Mountain, and Snow Valley.  For hiking and snow-shoeing, take a short 1-mile drive west to the Castle Rock trail, or 1-mile drive east to the Pineknot Trail.  For family fun, go 1-mile east to the world-famous Alpine slide that features everything from snow tubing, sledding, luge run, roller coasters, go-karts, and miniature golf.  Or if you just want to hang out and relax, you’ll love the Big Bear Mountain Brewery across from the Alpine slide. 

After a full day of winter fun, the complex has a heated “year-round” outdoor in-ground spa just 20 yards from our condominium.  Perfect for relaxing with family or friends and watching the stars or looking for UFOs in the clear night sky.  There are two outdoor tennis courts, so bring your tennis racquets or pickle-ball racquets.  The complex has two outdoor swimming pools but these pools are closed from October to May.

The spacious two-story condominium has three bedrooms, two full baths, and an open floor plan with lots of natural lighting.  There are ceiling fans throughout.  The condominium features a free highest-speed Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz, 5.0 GHz) guest accounts connected to the premium Spectrum cable internet package with over 200+ channels including ESPN, NFL Network, HBO, ShowTime, etc.  It is easy to log onto the internet or your Netflix account using your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.  With 20 Mbps download speeds, this is the ultimate WiFi for everything from remote gaming to teleconferencing.

This home has a strict no pets policy due to homeowner allergies.  This includes service animals.  If you have a pet, please select an alternate home.  Bringing a pet inside this home will result in the loss of the full deposit.

On the first level is the living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room with stacked washer and dryer, a guest bedroom, and a full guest bathroom.  The living room has a large floor-to-ceiling flagstone natural gas fireplace (no wood burning allowed) with fantastic views of the lake and mountains.  Living room entertainment features a 55-inch Samsung Smart TV, a selection of board games and jigsaw puzzles for a family fun night, and a 26-inch LCD arcade cocktail table with hundreds of games such as Pac-Man, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Pinball, Space Invaders & more!

Step outside onto the rear deck overlooking the lake and mountains and relax grilling on the large Weber propane barbeque or just sit back and watch the amazing wildlife, sunsets, and star-filled clear night skies.  Next to the deck is a large sloped field leading to the lakebed which is perfect for kids sledding and tubing, and building snow sculptures.  For your enjoyment, feel free to use the two sledding saucers in the outdoor closet next to the deck.  Due to low water levels, the water’s edge is currently about 50 yards from the property.

The kitchen has been recently remodeled with new lighting, quartz countertops, and a breakfast bar, along with a new stainless-steel sink, garbage disposal, and appliances (dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave).  The kitchen is fully stocked including pots/pans, cooking utensils, plates, silverware, a blender, a toaster, a k-cup coffee maker, a large-variety spice rack, and a hot-air popcorn popper.  The first-floor bedroom has a queen-size bed with a 43-inch Samsung LCD TV.

The second level includes two bedrooms that feature vaulted ceilings, including a spacious master suite with views of the lake, and a remodeled ensuite bath with dual sinks.  The upstairs master bedroom features a California king-size bed, a large 55-inch LCD Samsung TV, and a large executive-sized desk with a 24-inch LCD computer monitor (no computer) having both HDMI and DisplayPort cables for plugging in your PC laptop or Apple laptop.  The large desk, computer monitor, and high-speed WiFi access in the master bedroom are perfect if you need a quiet spot to hold a video conference or get a little work done on your getaway vacation.  The third bedroom has a queen-size bed with a 35-inch Samsung LCD TV.

We participate in Big Bear’s “Good Neighbor Program.” This is a family home in a private and quiet neighborhood. We have pledged that our tenants will abide by our rental agreement & will respect the neighbor’s right to “quiet enjoyment” from 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Disturbing the peace is a City Ordinance Violation. Please be respectful due to sound traveling in the mountains. Do not use the outdoor deck barbecue after 10:00 PM.  Failure to comply with these rules may result in expulsion from the property with no refund and additional fines from the City of Big Bear.

Do not exceed the occupancy limit  
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult  occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.

No amplified music 24/7  
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.  

Head inside at 10:00 p.m.  
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Take trash to dumpster locations  
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:
41790 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.

Fines  
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.  

Eviction  
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In  addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.
