The cabin is four miles from Bear Mountain Resort, with Snow Summit and the Village just a little further. It's only two blocks from the Community Market, a local favorite. Activities include skiing, hiking, climbing, biking, zip-lining, and boating.

The mountain does have a shuttle service as well as access to Uber, Lyft and other taxi arrangements.
