Perfectly situated for outdoor enthusiasts! We loved the close proximity to both skiing and hiking options, The kitchen was well-stocked, and we enjoyed cooking meals together, The communal garden was a nice touch, especially for our kids who had plenty of space to play, While the decor was a bit dated, the cozy atmosphere made up for it, Overall, a solid choice for a family retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the Graceful Apartment in Velmede! Bestwig en omringend gebied is prachtig. Er is van alles te doen en te bezichtigen. We hebben enorm genoten. Het huisje was van alles voorzien. Het was er erg schoon en de eigenaren waren erg vriendelijk. Kortom, een top vakantie gehad 😊

We waren hier met onze kinderen van 2 en 4 jaar. We vonden het een fijn, schoon en heel compleet appartement (keukengerei, kinderstoeltje- en bed, spelletjes etc.). Alles dat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Parkeren kan voor de deur. Gastheer is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bestwig is een dorp met verschillende winkels en faciliteiten zodat je niet ver hoeft te rijden, dat is prettig. Als uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving is het prima. Het appartement ligt tegen een steile heuvel aan en daar vandaan wandelen is mogelijk, maar niet ideaal aangezien je direct de heuvel op moet en ook zijn de paden niet erg interessant. Je zal een stukje moeten rijden naar betere wandelgebieden. Verbeterpunt is de check-in/uit tijd. Die kan beter aangespast worden naar 15.00 uur en 11.00 uur.

Wir waren 3 Tage in dieser sehr schönen gelegenden Umgebung. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und liegt wunderbar an einem Feld mit Wanderwegen. Eine kleine Innenstadt zu Fuss erreichbar essen und trinken sehr gut. Freizeitpark 10min Bergbau Bettwig 10min mit dem Auto. Zu der Unterkunft alles da was man brauch und sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Danke für alles.

Sehr schöne, sehr saubere und gepflegte Wohnung. Wirkt alles noch sehr neu. Absolut zu empfehlen. Zudem bietet Bestwig die zentrale Lage für sehr viele Ausflugsziele.

We stayed for 9 nights, 2 couples and a 2 year old. Plenty of room for us all, and a well equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher). The apartment was lovely and clean, and freshly decorated. Plenty of towels were provided and extra blankets. There is a balcony which is great for sunny breakfasts and evening drinks. The owners were very helpful and friendly , but left us too it. Bestwig was a lovely little town, a great base for exploring the area. There were 3 or 4 supermarkets in Bestwig, several bakeries and a lovely ice cream parlour.

Erg vriendelijke verhuurders, die je graag willen helpen. Wel hadden de verhuurders af en toe wat herrie over zich, goed hoorbaar in het appartement, met name 's morgens vroeg. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en helemaal compleet. Het dorpje is leuk en praktisch, met op loopafstand een gemoedelijk restaurant, een bakker en een ijssalon!

Wederom een hele fijne vakantie gehad in Haha Helga in Bestwig, ditmaal geen sneeuw, maar genoeg te doen in de omgeving voor een heerlijke week er tussenuit. De accommodatie is erg fijn, schoon en compleet uitgerust. Niets op aan te merken.

Bij onze aankomst kwam de eigenaar al spontaan naar buiten. Hij zag dat we fietsen bij ons hadden en bood spontaan stalling in een garageruimte aan. Ook gaf hij informatie over de omgeving. Het appartement ligt op de derde verdieping en is eigentijds ingericht. We hebben in de omgeving veel gefietst en gewandeld. Mede door het mooie herfstweer hebben we prachtige dagen gehad.

Aangenaam appartement in de eennahoogste verdieping van een groot woonhuis. Zelfs met temperaturen van 35 graden Celsius was het daar goed uit e houden. Een huis verderop konden we al beginnen met een wandeling in het groen. Voorzieningen als bakker, restaurant, supermarkt en ijscafe zijn erg dichtbij.

Keurig net en schoon appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaar heeft ons persoonlijk verwelkomt, we voelden ons (2 volwassenen en twee kinderen 6 en 15 jaar) direct thuis. De omgeving is prachtig en heel landelijk. Fantastische uitzichten en mooie kronkelende binnenwegen waar je (zeker met de motor) fantastisch kunt toeren. In het dorp Bestwig kun je voor de dagelijkse boodschappen alles vinden op loopafstand. In de omgeving volop keuze uit prima restaurants, waar je voor Nederrlandse begrippen een bescheiden bedrag lekker kunt eten. Voor kinderen is funland (atractiepark op zo'n 15 minuten rijden) zeker een aanrader. We zijn zeker van plan hier nog eens terug te komen.

we werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de huiseigenaar. Hij was ons zeer behulpzaam, maakte zelfs ruimte in zijn garage zodat we onze 2 motoren konden stallen. In de verwarmde kelder konden we onze natte motorkleding hangen om te laten drogen. het is een prachtig, ruim en schoon huis. We hebben er ondanks de vele regenbuien genoten van het mooie Sauerland.
