"What a wonderful hotel Englands Gate is. Lovely and friendly staff, good rooms, great service and food was also very good!"

"Our room was generously sized ,with 2 chairs and a desk with chair. Thankfully had a fan as our room was on 3rd floor. Room had a new carpet so it made it extra warm. Plenty of USB ports as well. Had breakfast,one full English first morning and cereal the next. You could have had both. We ate out as on the weekend there was no evening meal option. Parking was easy as there is a large car park at the rear accessed from the front of the property. £10 a night,more if reserved. A comfortable traditional hotel in the heart of Worcester,with very pleasant staff. Would go again."

"The staff were brilliant, friendly, helpful and polite. The position of the hotel was excellent for exploring the area. The room size was fine and the amenities good. What the room needed was air conditioning, I realise it is extreme heat and a fan was provided but I believe it was way too hot and oppressive. The water system was ropey and waiting for the water to arrive and the bathroom in general needed updating. However the room was clean."

The accommodation was great (we stayed in a lodge), the staff were helpful and friendly, the food was great (Sunday roast buffet highly recommended), room was clean and well maintained and the bar and gardens were wonderful. We will definitely stay there again if we're in the area"
