Great location

Convenient location to Cacapon state park. My only issue with the stay was the upstairs bed needs to be replaced or at least a mattress topper put in it. You go to bed and roll towards the middle. Besides that it was great place to stay.

Cute and Clean

Our stay at the Lazy Bear cabin was nice and relaxing. The house was clean and as described in the listing. The location was great; easy to find and accessible. The four-star rating is only because of the beds, which were quite uncomfortable. I know mattress preference can be a very individual thing, and I would not mention it if it were just me. However 4 of the 6 in our group found the beds especially uncomfortable. Otherwise, the property was ideal.

Girls getaway

Stayed two nights. House was exactly as expected. Had everything we needed. Would stay here again. Great location to Cacapon State Park, literally across the street, and 10 miles from Historic Berkley Springs.

Perfect location,very lovely and comfortable

This was our first visit to WV and to lazy bear cottage , we visit only the state park we had a good time . We had with us our son witch he is in a wheel chair ,even if the cottage was not adopted for handicap we manage to bring him in , we have a ramp so he could go in ,the inside was ok for him to move around only the entrance of the room was not but we picked him up And he loved and enjoyed the place very much . Hope that the owner will fix the entrance we’re is the ramp make more adoptable

Perfect Birthday Getaway

We enjoyed a long Labor Day weekend with the whole family celebrating my 65th! Took advantage of Cacapon State Park nearby. Great place to just hang out and visit. Perfect for 6 people (including 1 toddler) and our dog.

Perfect Weekend

This was the perfect place for my family and I to get away for the weekend. It was so relaxing and the house was beautiful! The area is nice and quiet, and it's right across the street from Cacapon state park which we also enjoyed seeing. We liked it so much we booked another stay before we even left. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Lazy Bear Cabin - Winter Camp 2020

We loved the cabin and specially the kitchen is full of everything needed to cook and serve. we all enjoyed being in the city of Berkeley Spring, amazing warm water running through the hot spring and the bath tub of George Washington and little hike in the Cacapon State Park. The overall stay was great except the internet is slow , the cabin probably had water lick issue in the past as the side walls look. loved the community and area, hopping to have my own log cabin one day in WV.... Thank.
