A perfect getaway
Overall we had a great couple of nights away. It was super quiet and just a short drive from the town of Berkeley Springs. We loved the game room, fire pit, hot tub and overall just the quiet of being tucked away in the woods. Great place to stay!
The hot tub was great! The fire pit was awesome! The basement was super cool! Not really two bathrooms, unless you include the woods. :-) Overall, it’s a great place to stay!!!

Great Getaway
Me and my friends, all aged 20-21, really enjoyed our stay here ! The hot tub is really clean and warm, well prepared for when you arrive, there’s tons of board games and movies to watch, as well as games in the basement, it was a really fun experience to have!

Bachelorette Trip
Me and my two friends had a wonderful time at this cabin. We couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation to stay in. Everything was clean and the home was warm and welcoming. We spent the entire weekend enjoying our time there playing games in the game room, relaxing in the hottub, and watching movies. We all loved it so much we are thinking of when to plan the next weekend trip!

Anniversary Surprise
"Hidden Gem" was perfect for our quiet anniversary get-a-way. We loved the hot tub and the fire pit. The decks were awesome, especially, the upstairs one. The host, Michael replied immediately when I booked and sent us a welcome message when we arrived. We were there 2 evenings and spent time downtown as well. The cabin was extremely clean, and the supplies provided were good. *I would suggest getting a new toaster. :) It was a wonderful surprise for my husband, and we had a fabulous time! Thank you!

Jewel cabin in the forest
We loved our stay at this cabin because it has 2 balconies looking into the forest and sleepy creek, a fire pit which we enjoyed looking at the full moon and stars, then the hot tub and games! Perfect for 4-5 people.

The stove top doesn’t work properly. Large burners didn’t work at all. Oven took a long time to cook a take and bake. The hot tub had some mildew when I took the cover off. I am a former military guy so I adapt and overcome. Very pretty and peaceful location. Would do it again

A good place to spend with family.
The cabin was very well decorated. Looked clean and cozy. It said in the description that had 2 bathrooms. Well only 1. In the second floor which has stairs. The games need update. They were not in good condition. The pool table balls and sticks were broken. There is a very difficult way to getting down to see the creek. They can clean and make a better pathway. The grill was dirty. The stove in the kitchen only work 2 warmers. The lights are very dimmed. Making it dark in some areas. There were lots of movies. We made the best we could to enjoy it. The hot tub was nice.

Annual Camping Trip
My high school friends and I go on an annual camping trip to get away from it all and this was a great cabin to do it! We made all our meals over the fire pit and enjoyed the basement space whenever it rained. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the night and catch up on what everyone has been up to!

Very tidy and comfortable both inside and out. The views are gorgeous. The stairs made us giggle every time we went up and down them. This place is situated and suited for play and relaxation for any season.

The cabin was super easy to find and is located close enough to town to be convenient but far enough to feel secluded. Perfect for a romantic getaway or just a fun getaway. We had an amazing time staying here and would absolutely stay again. The entire experience was 10/10

Checking in was easy, listing indicated complimentary water and coffee but neither was there nor did any show up after texting owner, very small shower low water pressure, no TV service only DVDs, hot tub had debris in it, refrigerator needs leveling, stairs are VERY creaky, ice trays would be very useful to have

Peaceful, relaxing cabin
My spouse and I were celebrating our anniversary at the cabin. It was such a relaxing and beautiful place. We were able to hike on the property in the woods down to the creek where there were kayaks and canoes to use. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It could easily house 8-10 people if needed. The fire pit, hot tub, and game room in the basement were awesome. Enjoyed our stay and will be coming back for sure.

Nice cabin in the woods
We had a nice stay in the cabin while we visited the Berkeley Springs area. We did have to reach out to Michael for the door code to enter the cabin the day of arrival, but he send it to us quickly. We enjoyed the darts, ping pong and foosball in the basement. The ground was wet from recent rains so we didn't venture down the very steep hillside to the river behind the house. Yes, the steps upstairs are VERY loud. With the only bathroom and one bedroom up there, it was difficult to not wake others when we needed to use the stairs. We really enjoyed our stay and eating breakfast on the beautiful deck overlooking the woods.

Perfect Getaway
From the moment we entered the front door we knew we had found a gem! The home and property are beautiful and very well kept. Very comfortable and well-stocked and has everything needed for a wonderful time. Communication with the owner was fantastic. The river and the sound of the river were wonderful. We highly recommend and are planning a return trip.

Perfect Family Getaway
Beautiful property at the end of a quiet road. The views and amenities were perfect. You really feel like you're away, and it's still easy to access the park to hike at Capacon or explore Berkeley Springs. We loved the Roman Bath and definitely save room for baked good at Charolette's. And the Ridge Trail at Capacon was a lot of fun. We would love to come back and explore another season at the cabin.

Simple getaway
Very clean and well equipped cabin. The fire pit and hot tub were wonderful, and everything was comfortable. The stairs really are loud though, but somehow the kids slept through the noise. Railings/stairs are a little scary with small kids but not a deal breaker. The view is perfect and we had a great time.

Great place for a weekend away!
Stayed here with a few friends for my birthday weekend because I just wanted to get away & relax, and it was everything I wanted! The pictures on here honestly don’t do the place justice. Also there was a previous review where someone had said the firewood was muddy & whole logs so we brought ours with us, but turns out we didn’t need it! There was a HUGE pile of firewood under the porch. The TV in the living room is a roku tv, which was really nice. On top of that, I think there is a DVD of every movie you could think of. In the basement, there is ping pong, a pool table, foosball, and a dart board. Hot tub was perfect. Only thing is it’s pretty far from town, but as long as you know that going in & pack accordingly, you don’t need to leave for anything. Only thing we wish we had brought was a baking sheet for some of the frozen food. But there was pots, pans, and dish-ware so we made do. Overall, it was exactly what I had hoped for & we are excited to visit again this summer!

Great little cabin in the woods.
Booked this for a quick getaway with the wifey. Nice location, very clean, solidly equipped, and peaceful. Would stay again. Berkeley's a fun town and this was a great spot to stay. Owner called out the owed road so when we hit it we didn't panic, but any map app will give your directions from Berkeley straight to that closed bridge. But all good. Would stay again. Thanks!

The home is comfortable and the area was exactly what we wanted. Woods, quiet, and pretty
The overall experience from rental through check in were simple and communication with Michael easy. The house is quaint and comfortable home as well. I absolutely loved having two balconies. The top floor balcony is fully covered by a roof do I could sit outside in the rain. There’s one thing I would tell visitors that they need to bring their own firewood because the wood described by the owner are massive logs on the ground (muddy, wet) Another thing that Michael said he would fix was that he listed coffee on the house description. I actually had a panicky morning for me and my boys before virtual classes not having our coffee. I didn’t have time to drive the 30 minutes to town before class. So, I learned if it’s important to me I can’t rely on a description. Overall, a great home in a great area to rent.

Quiet and Restful Cabin
Just enjoyed an incredibly relaxing stay here, so much to do provided for you on the property. Had plenty of fun barbecuing, kayaking, hiking, playing darts and pool, and enjoying movies and the hot tub at night. When I had difficulty accessing the details of my stay, Michael was so kind and responsive, he’ll definitely make sure your stay is perfect. Already looking forward to coming back!

The location of this property is great. Private, but not too private that it’s scary lol. The Berkeley Springs State Park is only 20 minutes away by car and so much other great places only 20-30 minutes away. The walk down to the creek is steep, but definitely do-able if you wear proper shoes and pace yourself. The kayaks are great. Hot tub was clean and worked beautifully. Lots of bugs, but what else can you expect from the woods. definitely coming back for another get away.

This place is amazing!!!
We loved our stay at this cabin! The pictures really dont do this place any justice. It was so beautiful inside! The kids loving having the upper floor to themselves and I loved kayaking everyday. There were plenty of board games and movies to keep us entertained inside along with the game room downstairs. The firepit was awesome and there was plenty of wood on the property. The owner brought a new grill while we were there and came and fixed the upstairs ac. He was very nice. I will 100% be back to this cabin

Overall a good experience
Could definately use a little more effort with the housekeeping. Floors needed swept, top of stove had crumbs from the last person. Our hot tub was very dirty with debris inside and also orange scum rings around the inside. Other than those few cleaning issues we had a great time. Location was nice. Owner was very easy to communicate with.

Mini Getaway
The cabin was absolutely beautiful. So cozy and just relaxing. The view was beautiful-we loved sitting out on the deck. We enjoyed a nice hike, ping pong and many games of pool. Would definitely recommend. The only thing I really noticed were the steps were very squeaky going upstairs. Otherwise we absolutely loved it! Great job on this place and thanks so much for sharing.
