「Efficient check in. Very good value. Great public areas and spacious comfortable room. Entrance for hotel not clearly marked (cf.casino entrance). Friendly and cordial staff in hotel. We did not visit either the casino or restaurant areas. Nice amenities in hotel. Would stay here again. Location is at edge of New Buffalo in area with woods and deer.」

「We really enjoyed this historic older building built in 1884 near the black river and close to Lake Michigan. Our room was small but comfortable; quiet at night and in the morning. We had a nice view of the water. Breakfast was phenomenal with many choices like a home-cooked meal. The only hitch was the first night where we didn’t know how to control the room’s radiator heat and it got too warm.
