Was ok. House was spacious.Is not elderly or handicap friendly, bathtubs are very tall and difficult to get in. Older family had to go up or down steps to bathe in a stand up shower( which are very small) and not comfortable. We had 9 people here and although we had enough space and beds the water heater could not keep up with the showers, laundry, dishes etc… very dissatisfied with that.Arrival was nice and was permitted to access 20 minutes early/ thank you for that.The stove only worked “sometimes “ burner by burner, gas grill partially worked (was dirty, no brush to clean)Dryer was full of towels along with the dishwasher of dishes and dishes on the counter.The outdoor gas firepit(s) were difficult to light and only one worked with seating not as depicted. Table on main level only-The water was vey hard and had a sulfuric smell, not pleasing to anyone.The air conditioning on the second level was not controllable, very warm in landing and bedrooms- master bed had a mini split so nice for some guests.Kids were disappointed with the pool table only having 2 of the 8 pool ques with a tip, all other were broken along with the rack for the balls

Perfect for a large group

This is our second time staying at this Watervleit home. It is very comfortable and fits our group perfectly. Everything was there when we arrived and the kitchen is well stocked. They even have had a Christmas tree each December to make the house festive. Easy uncomplicated stay.

Great place for family weekend

We had a great stay for the long weekend in town for a family wedding. Plenty of space for 9 adults to hang out and relax. Beautiful view of the water, very relaxing! Plenty of linens and towels which is much appreciated! Would love to stay again.

The place is beautiful with all the amenities you would want. However, anyone bringing their boat must realize that the neighbors dock is 6 blocks down the road and 80 steps from the driveway to the Lake.

Good week long stay

The pictures did not lie. The house was very clean and the owner was responsive. The 2 decks were great for relaxing. Made trips to St Joseph (downtown is great), Holland (Windmill Island Gardens), Grand Rapids (Fredrik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Gardens) and Sageutuck (paddle boat). Went to 3 beaches on Lake Michigan and saw a couple of lighthouses. The faults: -No wash rag in mbr -Towels were extremely thin -Dock on lake for swimming was about a block walk _No Keurig

Amazing time

Came on a small vacation with a family group. The house is incredible with plenty of space even with twelve of us. Communication with the host was fast and check in was very easy. The views are incredible. My favorite thing was to enjoy coffee on the deck in the morning watching the sunrise over the lake. 100/10 recommend

Awesome Gathering Space

Our group has been traveling together for several years as our daughters on part of a horse back riding team. This is the first time we have all stayed in a house together. Lakeside was perfect for our four families-each parent had a room and bathroom and the girls a bunk room. Everything was clean and check in was easy. The owner is quick to respond to any questions or needs. The views from the kitchen/living room are amazing. As a bonus they had a Christmas tree that made it festive!

Great place for the family

This was our second stay, the place was great as always. Gal is great at responding to messages quickly. That place is very spacious, clean and has two really great balconies overlooking the lake. Highly recommend!

Lake Time

We enjoyed the amenities of the house. The sunsets from the back deck were gorgeous. Having a pool table downstairs was fun for everyone. The fire pit was nice on the cool evening. Having access to a dock was nice also since we had rented a boat. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The only item is the second floor bathroom needs better lighting to see when you are getting ready in the morning. Other than that it was great.

A wonderful place for a get away

A short walk to the small beach, with warm, shallow water, which is great for kids. There is also grass and shade there, which we found helpful. We enjoyed the kayak, bikes, and beach toys. The view of the lake from the deck and living rooms are great. We loved this spacious home. Our host was very responsive.

Family gathering house

Perfect house and location for multiple family get together. Lots of amenities including kitchen items, baby gates on the stairs, toddler high chair, pac-n-plays, canoe, kayaks, life preservers, washer and dryer and two decks over looking the water. Short walk to a small but nice sandy beach with dock. Perfect for the grandchildren. Great sunsets! Would definitely return again.

Great place and great view

We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again in the future. The place was clean and in good shape. Plenty of space. Bedrooms had light blocking shades for good sleep. The balcony areas are pretty big. The grill came in handy as well. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.
