"We stayed here because our nephew was getting married close by at Etre Farm. House was just as shown in the pictures. Very clean & cute. It was perfect for our stay. We had 4 adults,1 teen and a small dog. I would say that it only sleeps 4. The couch doesn’t pull out & there wasn’t an air mattress. We made it work though. I would definitely book again if we were in the area."

"The property was clean, well-stocked, well-maintained, and had fun, quirky, artsy, decor. Beautiful sunflowers, fresh garden tomatoes as a perk. The host was immediately reaponsive to inquiries and questions. Benton Harbor is, unfortunately, a rather blighted town. It was obviously a lovely area at one point. That said, it's right next door to St Joe, and we love coming here every year with the kids. "

Owner is easily accessible and answers messages very quickly and she's accommodating to anything we need including early check in or late check out if needed. "We came down for family birthday party and stayed at this house/cottage. Ryan was very easy to work with. Easy in and out. Clean, quiet, good beds, shampoo, conditioner and bath soap provided as well as starter TP paper, Keurig coffee, and garbage bags. Would not hesitate to rent again! Rented the pontoon as well. "The perfect size and accommodations for our group of 4. We loved and enjoyed sitting out on the screened in porch over looking the Black River. If you ever stay here, make sure you check out their impressive flower garden. My only request would be to have more comfortable beds."

"We got to our rental close to midnight. The path to the house is not well lite so beware to bring a lantern. The good thing is the lights inside the house were on. But as soon as we entered the house we got greeted by a cockroach and unwelcoming smell. It was probably from the black mold on the ceiling which I saw the next morning.
