The holiday home is located in the village of Beaufort, with picturesque streets and the imposing 12th-century castle. The views of the surroundings are beautiful and you will stay comfortably with family or friends. Visit Minerve (6 km), Fontfroide Abbey or the beautiful Olonzac (2 km), with a cosy centre full of shops and rsetaurants. You can cruise on the Canal du Midi from Homps (without a boating licence) and enjoy a lovely walk through the Montagne Noire and the Narbonnaise Park. Nearby is the swimming lake of Jouarres. Children will be amazed by a visit to Sigean zoo, 40 minutes away, and a day at the beach at Gruissan (50 minutes) is also a possibility. But above all, don't forget to visit the largest walled city in Europe: the extraordinary Carcassonne (40 km). The Gothic cathedral of Béziers is at the same distance. The accommodation is very contemporary and air-conditioned. The living room on the ground floor offers access to the covered terrace and beautiful private pool. Enjoy communal lunches on the terrace and let the children play freely on the lawn in the enclosed garden.
