"It’s an old rustic hotel, the walls are very thin so you hear everyone’s door slam but that is to be expected. It’s a cabin still vibe at the hotel so we knew it would be rustic."

"We had a nice 3 day visit to Shaver lake, hiking and exploring the area. The cabin was very comfy and and had good character, we liked it. It was a little tricky finding it, because we arrived late at night, but once that was sorted out, everything worked out great. We plan on coming back and staying there again for sure!"

"Was not given any code to get into cabin and no registration on site. No cell service to be able to call anyone. Was lucky to have someone that knew the combination to get into the room. Also heater did not work and it was quite cold at night"

"We had an amazing stay at Kings Cabin in Shaver Lake! This beautiful four-bedroom, three-bath cabin is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire cabin felt cozy and welcoming.We especially enjoyed having a BBQ and relaxing at the cabin, while also exploring the many nearby lakes and places of interest. A visit to McKinley Grove of giant sequoias is an absolute must!We also found plenty of great and fun places to eat nearby. The host was fantastic and never intrusive, but always making us feel right at home throughout our stay.We cannot recommend Kings Cabin enough and would love to stay here again!"

"This is a three bedroom unit in the back of Bretz Mill that's very retro 90s. The kitchen is well equipped if you'd like to cook meals. We were a party of three, two adults and one teenager. The deck is wonderful and oversized, which is great because there's no one behind you except for wildlife. We saw deer, squirrels, several species of hawk, a weasel, and quail, just to name a few. The master suite was comfortable, and the two secondary bedrooms are roomy with big beds. Close to Shaver Lake and only 30 minutes from Huntington Lake and Dinkey Creek in the summer. We will be back."

"I thought we were getting our own place. It turned out to be a common area with two bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The common area was very clean, and coffee and a light snack were provided. There was also a refrigerator and a sitting area. In the bedroom, water and chocolates were provided. Also, toiletries were in the bathroom. Everything you need was there. It was very clean and comfortable."
