"Limited parking in an old fashioned Harveys pub with rooms & a restaurant. Stayed on a Thursday which transpires too be 'steak night' so menu was limited on the evening but what was offered seemed good quality at a reasonable price. Would stay again if in the area. Also, really helpful / friendly staff."

"Great location and access to the area"

"Room was pet friendly, staff were great, decor in room a bit tired but not enough to putting us off staying again, Bathroom door could fit better. Food was very good."

"A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again."
