"As one of the only hotels in the area, choice was limited. We used for a one night stay to meet family. Condition not as expected, somewhat outdated and emptu of guests. Could not ope room windows and the spiders occupied the room more than guests as cobwebs were seen in many area, problems flushing toulet ans windows were certainly dirty"

"The hot tub was warm enough, but the pool with the jets on the side. When they are activated the chlorine was very strong and made our eyes sting. "

"The staff , Sophie and Amy(? Receptionist )were excellent, and could not be faulted, especially when the management pushed against the already agreed fried breakfast, and called the receptionist in from home to tell me I only had access to a ‘continental’ breakfast rather than a cooked one. I offered to discuss the issue directly with the management, but they still pushed and I had to show a screenshot of the messages I had received from the hotel indicating a cooked breakfast was included. Again, this was via the unfortunate receptionist, who had returned to the hotel, and I assume would not be paid. In the end it was reluctantly agreed, to allow my partner and me to have the expected cooked food. The breakfast was excellent- thank you Sophie. As an aside the single pillows were rock hard and at 0300 we were serenaded by a nearby rookery "

"The hotel room was recently refurbished and clean, staff very friendly. However I think I was in the only refurbished room with active work taking place into the evening. I am sure the property will be lovely when completed ready for the summer tourists but I only managed to stay one of my two nights."

"We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it tremendously, because this lodge had everything – a jacuzzi, gym, cinema, and barbecue area.Everything was spotless, and the house smelled wonderful, which I especially appreciated since we had small babies with us.Terry was also a fantastic host who never hesitated to help us whenever we needed anything.I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take a break from their daily routine.We can’t wait to come back again.Thank you, Terry!"

"The linen was very fresh and clean smelling, owner very pleasant. The property is undergoing refurbishment, hence the low price. TV didnt work and fridge needed a clean, the loo brush was source of nasty smell. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Honey Pod. Communication and instructions before arrival were wonderful and made everything so easy. The space itself is compact but has everything you need — a cozy kitchen/lounge area, comfortable bedroom, and clean bathroom. The wood burner hot tub in the garden was such a treat, perfect for relaxing under the stars. It’s beautifully secluded and feels like you’re tucked away in the middle of nowhere — peaceful, quiet, and magical. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and escape! "
