The hotel is located in a great area, lots of eating and shopping options near the hotel. Staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable. We had a balcony room with street view but we didn't hear any street noises, which was great!

Decent hotel in a great location

A decent hotel, very well-located. If you have a street-side room, you get a great view but it can be noisy a lot of the time, as the hotel is on one of the principal streets of the city. The room itself was large and comfortable. The styling is a little dated, but everything was functional.

Great location, not too great comfort

Staff were so kind and helpful with suggestions for our visit to Barcelona. At one point our room developed a leak in the ceiling and we were offered a new room but chose to live with it because it was more of a bother to pack up, etc. Again, staff was very kind about the situation. To my mind, what the hotel lacked was the same sort of attention to the comfort of guests in the room decor which was sparse. Hard beds, flat pillows, no art on the walls, television didn't work, no extra blankets, all added up to an economy motel vibe for $250+ a night. We did love the patio and access to the coffee maker. The pool is very small, so fellow Americans, adjust your expectations.
