You'll fall in love with this upscale British Colonial space with Caribbean-themed decor that boasts a prime location in a quiet neighborhood for memorable friend/family vacations. With large kitchen and dining areas that open up to a 500 sq. ft. patio deck and grill, this home is ideal for entertaining several guests whether for business, sporting events, wedding groups, family reunions, church groups, a quick getaway or college tour.

Perfect place for family to get together!

We took my father-in-law back "home" where most of his family lives. This house was perfect for all of us to come together, hang in the back yard, grill out, and relax.

The home was pretty perfect and the owner was extremely helpful and communicative. Plenty of parking and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The house was clean and spacious. We make trips to Huntington /Barboursville annually so we will definitely re-book. I recommend this home highly.

Our family gathered from NC, PA, OH , OR, and CA. The house suited the 8 of us well—5 bedrooms, one with two beds. Clean, very pleasant, and well equipped. In a walkable neighborhood in the village of Barboursville but convenient to Huntington via nearby I-64.

We had a fantastic time! The property owners were incredibly kind and responsive to our questions while we were there! The house was super cozy and peaceful to stay at! Loved that extra pillows, blankets, and towels were easily available for possible need/use. We all had a great time staying at the house.

Great location

We have stayed here several times over the last few years. The house has plenty of room for everyone with 5 bedrooms upstairs and even a room that converts to a bedroom downstairs. The newly added downstairs full bathroom is awesome. Communication with the owner is excellent.

Home for the Holidays

We had a terrific stay at this spacious home between Christmas and New Year’s. It was the perfect size for us and was very comfy. The water pressure was fantastic, the towels were thick and fluffy, the closet/storage space was incredible, and it was one of the cleanest homes we’ve ever rented! Location was perfect as we visited friends and family in the area and it was a great place for our local family to come visit and have dinner with us. We would most definitely like to stay here again!

Hometown visit

Perfect home for coming back home with family or friends. This home has everything for your stay including a beautiful new full bathroom with shower and modern amenities. Great new shower and vanity. This home has so many pluses but most of all, we enjoy the quiet neighborhood that is centrally located so that groceries and restaurants are nearby. It feels like home.

Family Christmas

We came to visit family over Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and everything was well stocked. We had a slight issue at check in as the email I received with info had the wrong code for the lock. I did not see the message from the host that contained a different code. But Deran was very responsive and was able to unlock the door remotely before we figured out the correct code. My kids loved having all the space. We did not really get to enjoy the yard because it was a bit cold and rainy. Would definitely stay again!

So much room!

This property fit our group perfectly! We were in town for our daughter's wedding with immediate family including 2 grandsons. There was so much room to move around. Loved the sun porch for early morning coffee and tea. The kitchen and pantry were wonderful for wedding food prep. Very well stocked kitchen. (We did purchase a dish drainer and a few utensils that we left behind for future guests😊) Very convenient location for all we needed; close to mall area and hotel where our out of town guests were staying. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again if the need arose! Our 8 year old grandson loved his room above the garage with his own tv, and the 18 month old was obsessed with the foosball table because of the balls! Thank you Deran for the hospitality!

Just like home

From the moment we walked in it felt like we were in a home and not just a rental house. We came in from all over the country to celebrate our sons wedding. The layout and space were wonderful to allow privacy and get togethers alike. We were a quick 20 minutes to the venue in Huntington. The kitchen was well apointed with everything you can need to cook right there. They even had some simple staples for seasonings which is wonderful to not have to buy those simple items for just a few days. With 5 adult children and spouses it was so wonderful to have plenty of dishes for all. Lots of games and ways to entertain right there if you should desire. And plenty of room to play inside and out. The owners were wonderful and quick to respond with any questions. We would absolutely return.
