「The staff were very helpful and it felt homely and very comfortable. The food was enjoyable too. For an old building it was kept in good condition, nicely decorated and showed the history through artwork and photos.」

「We stayed for 2 nights (Saturday-Monday) and overall the stay was good! The room was lovely, well presented, clean (needed a few touch ups but nothing major) and comfortable. The female members of staff we spoke to were very helpful.
Unfortunately, the Saturday night is the reason I’m not giving more stars. I understand it’s a pub so there will be noise to a degree, but there was loud talking and music until gone midnight and it was very frustrating. I had ear plugs in but could still hear it...
