The hotel staff were very friendly, The room was lovely and it was clean with an excellent view, parking was good, breakfast was lovely and it was warm.
We just had a two night break, food good, staff very friendly and helpful especially Noelle at Reception and Sarah in Marconi’s restaurant.
Would recommend the hotel as central for everything.
We love our stays at the Marine Hotel, the new improvements are fab!! The ground floor areas are so homely & inviting.
The staff are Brilliant, friendly, efficient and so welcoming.
You always meet our expectations!
Thank you!
This was a wonderful hotel. Clean rooms, excellent views, and charming staff. The food at the restaurant was delicious, especially breakfast! I would definitely recommend and would stay here again!
We had a great stay in ballycastle. The staff were the best I’ve probably ever had from the girls at check in to the lovely Australian woman at the bar who couldn’t do enough for us. We will certainly be back soon. Great value also and food was amazing especially breakfast
Three rooms were booked. Two of the three rooms could/ should have been cleaner. One bed contained hair and dirt. Staff were apologetic when informed.

Paid for a partial ocean view. My room overlooked the restaurant venting. The smell of oil and fish made it very hard to enjoy my evening. The staff was lovely and the area is phenomenal. I would stay again but I would be very picky about which room I get.
We enjoyed every part of our two night stay in this great hotel!
Checking in was easy - we were early arriving, but the receptionist alerted housekeeping who made our room available for us.
The room was spacious, a double and a single bed.. perfect! So comfortable.
Bathroom was clean.
Breakfast was really good - both continental style and hot food.
The hotel is in a wonderful location- just beside the beach, near cafes, a couple of bars and an ice-cream shop!
The main shops and bars are a short walk away. My husband has mobility issues, so we booked a taxi to go to a restaurant .. £4 each way.
We had a 1 night stay in August. The weekend after the Lamas Fair.
There was no entertainment in the hotel. There was also no bar to go to; we had to keep looking for a server for drinks.
The restaurant has to be pre booked and the food was OK but not worth the prices.
Bedroom was comfy and clean. No smart TV. Also road noise woke us.
The home made short bread was awful; far too dry.
I’d say if we hadn’t met a lovely family in the residents lounge it would have been a less than average experience.

Weird place. Out hotel was in an annex that you have to walk outside to get to the lobby. No elevator so had to lug luggage up stairs, not at all convenient. The hear wasn't turned on and it was like 50's at night. The helpful staff gave us a portable heater and so we were alright but he central heat wasn't turned on. Really pretty amateurish. Breakfast was basic. Staff were okay nothing special. Location is great by the water. Probably the only positive I guess easy parking and the WIFI worked. Wouldn't stay again unless this was the only hotel in my price range/ Even then if you have a car I'd stay in a better place even if it was further out of town and drive in, it's not hard to park in town.
