"The service at this hotel was unparallel. I needed a medication and they sent a driver to the pharmacy to pick it up and bring it back to the hotel. That is truly priceless. Everything, and we mean EVERYTHING was even better than we could have imagined. The house itself is magical - a true gem in such a charming part of the Douro Valley. It is much bigger than it seems online and you can hang here for days without ever leaving property because there is so much to do. Our group really enjoyed the pool and cooking in the very well appointed kitchen. The breakfast every morning was perfect and the house felt so spacious that even with 15 of us you would have to make an effort to run into everyone! One of our absolute favorite parts about our stay was how the home really felt like home.
