「Was a bit confusing getting to the location at first but we found our way. The size was perfect for our stay. Didn’t need anything big. The floor boards between the rooms was noisy so it was hard getting to the restroom quietly and not waking anyone. It was quiet, except when students came but that was when we were about to leave for the day. Shower was spacious and clean and hot. We really appreciated the tea and breakfast option. 」

「Property is in a country like setting . It is a 20 minute drive to restaurants and stores to get a bite to eat. There is no one available on the property to let you into your rooms. Spent 90 minutes trying to reach someone by phone and email. We are 60 years old and not computer smart. 」

「It was a beautiful home, the neighbor dogs were incredibly sweet. We enjoyed the pool table and the old stove. But It wasn’t easy to get anywhere with our large group,Ubers didn’t want to take the fare.There was no walking on the narrow road. When we did go to the closest town on a Monday, everything was closed for dinner except a pizza place and Brady’s (which we loved)for drinks. 「Ciaran and Eve were wonderful hosts! The apartment was very tidy and easy to find. Our transport was delayed and they incredibly accommodating of a midnight arrival. We were delighted to find tea and snacks waiting for us in the kitchen. The farm was easy to find and we loved exploring the trails and meeting all the animals living there. 「Out in county but close to everything. This home was beautiful, everything we could need was provided! The living spaces were so comfortable we didn't want to leave, the bedrooms were beautiful, it was our own private luxe hotel, but just felt like a peaceful home. Caithriona welcomed us like family and made sure she was always available should we need her, she even gave us some great suggestions on places to visit. We could not ask for a better vacation stay.」

「Absolutely loved my stay in this gorgeous clean house. The house is very modern and has all amenities you could need including two showers with great water pressure. The back garden gets lovely warm sun in the mornings which makes sitting in the kitchen a real treat. The train station is a five minute walk across the green and brought me straight into the city centre in 15/20 minutes. If you’re thinking of booking this place do as you won’t be disappointed!」

「The Grooms Cottage was a rustic wonderful stay. It is in the country but really not far from shops. Having only 1 bathroom was a little difficult in the morning with 5 adults but they are working on an upstairs one, it just wasn't ready for our stay. I definitely would come back to the Grooms Cottage!」
