"This casita was absolutely perfect. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with almost everything needed to cook a full meal (a Walmart is near by). There’s also a charcoal grill, with charcoal and starter fluid provided, which I put to good use cooking the perfect ribeye.It was quiet and peaceful, and I loved listening to the coyotes at night. The outdoor fire pit was a great touch and made the evenings especially relaxing. Sandy was wonderful and helped guide me to the casita over the phone, which I really appreciated.I will absolutely be back."

"Stayed two nights mid November. Sally the host was very welcoming and kept a great balance of helpfulness and giving you your space. Great outdoor area for views, fireplace; and peacefulness. Breakfast outside each morning was great. Room was welcoming and nice private outdoor courtyard. "

"We loved the Casita! The location was nice and remote, and we loved being in the middle of the Mesquite forest. It was perfect for us. Sandy was a great communicator and highly responsive to our needs. We would highly recommend this nice location. "

"We were so excited for our stay unfortunately when we arrived there was a not so recently deceased bird at the back door and the pool was dirty and full of debris. This prompted a call to customer service who basically was like oh sorry we’ll reach out to the local team. Great … they did but until I requested a discount or refund on the 2nd afternoon we didn’t hear anything but we’re working on that waiting for a response. Once I asked for a discount I was offered 50 dollars and told to take care of the bird and clean the pool myself. We did take care of the bird and did the best we could with the pool. The dark slime at the water line was just gross. The house has birds in the outside shades making them un usable. The from porch at some point had 2 trees or cactus’ apparently they didn’t make it so they removed whatever was there left the stump and hole, creating a trip hazard. Some of the blankets on the beds had holes in them and it has been a minute since the couch has been swept under. The house could be very beautiful but is in need of some care. It made us wonder what other short cuts were taken. "
