「Lovely stay in this beautiful and comfortable B&B. Owner was present for our welcome and very organized with set up and building entry and parking . Breakfast was very enjoyable and yummy . Would visit Dumfries and the B&B again in the future if given a chance for sure . Centrally located to downtown area with great dining options . Thanks 」

「The hotel is a stately home. More like a Manor that is just outside Penpont; Thornhill is just a 5 min drive. It’s located in a gorgeous area surrounded by lovely old oak trees and the Scaur River. Excellent for a good walk. 」

「We were greeted with drinks and cake when we arrived the room was spacious and set up ready for our dog when we arrived both mark and Dawn clearly love dogs so if your thinking of bringing your pooch this is the place to bring them .」
