Very clean motel unit on Ashburtons main street, handy to both town, Domain and Aviation centre. The 2 bedroom unit was comfortable for 4 people, shower had hood pressure and there was adequate cooking facilities. Only negative was the extremely hard beds, we all woke with very sore backs.

Comfortable and spacious apartment

This was our first accommodation in New Zealand and we were really impressed by the comfort, cleaniness and spaciousness of the apartment. The beds were comfortable, nice shower, complete kitchen and far enough from the road to not hear the passing traffic. Owners were super friendly as well when we overslept and requested for a later check out.

This room was lovely and warm with great heat pump. The spa bath was excellent. Nice comfy bed. Great kitchen facilities. It's a shame that the kitchen cupboard under the sink wasn't fixed properly, it's a nuisance to shut. None of the heat lamps work in the bathroom, as there is no other heating in the bathroom, it makes for an unpleasant experience getting out of the shower in a cold bathroom. 4 heat lamps don't go out at the same time, so I think these haven't been going for a long time. It's a shame the motel attendant didn't pop over and turn on the heat pump so the room was warm when I arrived last night, as I booked online 15 mins before I arrived.
