「Didas Villa was the perfect place to stay before our Safari. The owner, Fred, met us at check-in. We arrived kind of late and very hungry. He offered to cook for us or to drive us to a restaurant. 「Relatively OK hotel in Arusha. The hotel is a little bit far away from city and main road (unable to go there by walk). Staffs are friendly and kind. The hotel has simple and small restaurant but it’s good. We stayed this hotel for very short time after Safari and left to Kilimanjaro Airport early morning. It took just one hour. It was good for this purpose. The hotel can arrange a taxi to the airport with 40USD.」

「This is a great hotel right in the middle of Arusha. Good breakfast, spacious rooms and a big beautiful garden to wander through. Take advantage of happy hour in the Hatari Bar. A few notes: Arusha is a busy, noisy city and you're right in the middle of it. Don't expect rooms near the road to be quiet. 「The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the first night, we didn’t have a hot shower, which was a bit disappointing, but the water was lukewarm the next day. The area gets quite noisy on Saturday nights, sometimes until late at night. It might not be ideal for a long stay, but it’s a great place for a short stay. 」
