"Stayed here for a night. Orlando, the owner, welcomed us and showed us the room. He was very nice and hospitable. The room was clean, I liked the interior design of the suite we got. We met two kittens who were friendly. If you like cats, they will gladly enter your room. If you don’t, you might want to consider. They are very sneaky going inside, but they are cute. "Absolutely loved our stay here. We had an amazing view of the lake and volcano. Loved the hot tub to relax in. So happy to have the option to get breakfast, which was delivered to your room. Great contact with host. Yes the road was very rocky and long but worth it for the views you get here. We would stay here again. "

"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options.
