「This is a second tome we stayed at the hotel. First time was four years ago and it was quiet boutique hotel, now it's in process of expansion. We love the place and would come back. I included the negative responce about it to inform, not to deter. The highlights: You can walk to the river, it's a short hike, and swim in there, very beautiful spot to take photos. 「Beautiful location! I have slept in jungles on 2 other continents but Arenal Oasis feels so alive and wild! It’s loud here. Not cars, or traffic but the tree frogs, howler monkeys, chirping insects, song birds. That’s sort of the point of this place, but if you need a quiet environment bring ear plugs to sleep! Wild life was everywhere- including many poisonous species. Our kids, 5 & 8 understood not to touch anything, but I would not recommending kids any younger as the jungle surrounds...

「This property was amazing, literally one of the most beautiful properties that I have ever stayed at! The staff were so accomodating, especially given a reservation error . They had us check in, stated they would handle the problem with Expedia, and told us the most important thing is that we have a good time. AND THEY LIVED UP TO IT!
