「hotel is a bit remote from the towns, but sits right next to the cliffs and a beach. the trail starts right at the cliff. free parking onsite, but you need to drag your luggage’s over stone roads, or ask for help of staff to drive a kart. resort is nicely laid out and breakfast is great. one issue is the power was out for one night due to the coastal weather, and no staff was at the reception for the night. luckily internet and heating was still available.」

Flamingos salgados is in a quiet area in between the Albufeira Marina and Amerco de pera (Galé /Gui area) so a car is ideally required unless you want to use Uber or Taxis to get around. 「The whole place is amazing! We had a wonderful view of the water from the balcony space off our room, which was right next to the front desk. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. We ordered the breakfast basket both mornings and loved the food and thermos of coffee. It's an easy walk to town and beaches. We had no car and it was a short Bolt ride in from the train station. I highly recommend Castelo Guest House!」

「Thank you to the wonderful team at the W Algarve who made my solo birthday trip a wonderful one. They allowed me to check in early and had decorated the room with messages and even gave me a little sweet treat. Nothing was too difficult for them to sort out and they went above and beyond for me. The room was very big, clean and the bed very very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic!! One of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. The spa facilities were great and I had a wonderful detox massage....

Excellent location within the city that is walkable to all the key sights. I was delightfully surprised they even cooked breakfast for you instead of having eggs out in a chafing dish. Would recommend and visit again.」
