「レンタカーで向かったのですが、ナビ通りに行こうとしたら道がありません。何と最後はフェリーで移動します。片道５分程度で７ポンド弱。渡った目の前にあります。その辺りにはホテルだけで、あとは民家が点々と。 犬と赤子連れで行ったのですが、とても親切にしてもらいました。パブの食事も美味しかったです。 娘が大きくなったらまた訪ねてみたいです。」

「Room is quite simple, not WOW, but they renovated recently so it's quite clean. View from this hotel is amazingly beautiful, located in the middle of nature. All staff is very helpful, we have small problem when check in/out though. Their bar has huge range of whisky.」

「No menu, service slow, bedroom windows latches faulty, bedroom door lock very slack, central heating not working. However bed very comfortable and bathroom recently spruced up. Hotel surroundings poor with no obvious main entrance. WIFI POOR TO NON EXISTENT」

「We had a wonderful stay in the spacious and elegant Merchant’s Suite, which had a wood stove and a jetted tub. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed all the breakfast options and we had dinner multiple nights in the pub- delicious. 」

「The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also good. There isn’t much else near the hotel other than the adjacent restaurant. We ordered pizza from the Red Shed (excellent) and brought it tot our room. The actual town is a bit of a walk away (we had already walked a section of the WHW that day so that wasn’t great for us). I would recommend that hikers that need supplies get off the bus at Ballachulish by the coop and then walk back to the hotel).」
