"It is a GREAT location! Great bar/restaurant attached as well as a restaurant as part of it. It’s beautiful. Room clean, spacious, very comfortable beds, and soft fluffy towels. It didn’t have coffee in the room but the jet tub bathroom, huge separate shower, and spacious bathroom was great. King with patio with table & 4 chairs. "

"No air conditioning. The hotel heaters were on even in the lobby even though it was in the high 70s F outside in portland. The room was hot the entire stay. Some things were broken or a bit dirty in the hotel room. The hotel room door would not open after trying it way too many times, we had to ask someone from the front desk to open it. He ended up having to push his weight into the door to get it to open. We then also had to do this every time we wanted to go into the room. Parking is close. Staff was really nice. The beds are nice. The bathroom was nice. There was a very large industrial massive pipe on the side or the hotel (not sure what the purpose is) its loud and right outside the hotel window so we had to listen to that during our stay. Hotel has a funny older building type of smell. "

"The balcony is huge, but bring your own folding chairs. There were a couple of items that needed repair in the room, but the staff was pleasant when I mentioned them at check-out. "

"This was our third stay at the Old Barn and it remains one of our favorite Portland getaways! The bed is so comfortable, the hot tub on the deck is magical, the baby grand is a delight to play and the seclusion is so peaceful! Thanks again! We’ll be back! "

"Enjoyed an excellent stay here. All staff members were wonderful and the room was gorgeous and as pictured online. At one point, we ran out of conditioner, and a new bottle was delivered within minutes. Great amenities and very clean. My only note to future guests is to be mindful of the parking situation if you have a car. The hotel only offers valet, which was quite expensive. I recommend using the self-parking lot across the street, which is way more affordable and felt very safe. The area is also fantastic - nearly everything you can hope to see in Portland is no more than a fifteen minute drive away. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. "
