"The room was nice but small. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I love the property and the grounds. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. "

"Steps into the property are a health and safety hazard, need to have some hand rails. Stair carpets quite grubby and frayed in parts. Was on top floor and again missing hand rails. Location not good for public transport into city centre. Every guest seemed to be leaving and arriving in taxis"

"The whole place needs refurbishment. Beds and bedding was clean but everything else looked about 40 years old. Burn holes in the carpet, cigarette burns on the edge of the bath, wooden fittings in poor condition etc. They have no kitchen (being refurbished?) so no food on the premises. The website does not make that clear."
