Finca Salrima Álora by Ruralidays

  • The location of this villa is ideal if you want to enjoy the excellent views over the nearby Natural Area of El Chorro, Cerro del Hacho and over the province of Malaga.

    The house is situated on a farm of 35.000 m2, where your need for tranquillity and privacy will be preserved, as the noises of the city don't reach this estate.

    Its 299 m2 of interior surface are divided into six bedrooms, all of them with hot/cold AC. One bedroom has two double beds, one has an individual bed and a bunk bed, and the other four bedrooms are provided with two single beds each. The six bathrooms with shower are all ensuite. You will also find a very cosy living room with fireplace and a mini-bar. The kitchen is 40 m2 wide, and it is provided with all the facilities you'll need. Moreover, it communicates with the barbecue area through an interior door.

    The house has an independent apartment of two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other one with two single beds of 90 cm, in addition to a bathroom with shower and a small living room. To open this house has an extra price, the price is for 16 people.

    The house is equipped with electric oven and a wooden oven in the outside area.

    The outside area is equipped with barbecue, and children's playground with swings and a slide, alongside a fenced swimming pool with salt water, a small outdoor bathroom, gardens, ping-pong table, basketball area, parking area and two fridges to keep your drinks cool during the hot days of Andalusia.

    This Andalusian holiday home is the perfect place to stay or share with your family or group of friends since you are also given the possibility to celebrate events there. You can access the estate through a paved road, while the entrance door is automatic.

Traditional house on outskirts of Alora

The property is in a good location, set within olive orchards. You can easily walk to Alora which has everything you need from Supermarkets to restaurants. The walk to town is paved and safe to be done even in the dark. We came during the October rains and it was quite cold outside, so we only used the outside kitchen and barbecue once. The pool area is great, it was a shame we couldn't use it more. The views are breath-taking with wonderful sunsets. Also the basketball play area was popular with our family. I would say the kitchen is a bit small for the property size. Equipment was limited, eg. lack of chopping boards, decent knifes, mugs etc. could be improved. But it didn't spoil our stay. The lounge is decent size, everything is quite rustic, chairs need some repairs. We used the fireplace which worked well. I suppose in the summer you'd hardly use the indoor space, but we had no choice. All in all, it is a nice property and it was cheaper than others in the area, so I am taking that into consideration and was expecting rustic style. Aircon/heating system is using some strange timer set up, so only works on one selected temperature and turns off automatically. The owner was a nice chap and always responded to our queries promptly.

Wunderschöne Villa mit allem, was man braucht. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Stadt und der große Supermarkt waren nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt, was perfekt war. Allerdings musste man einen steilen Hügel hinaufgehen, um die Villa zu verlassen, was für uns kein Problem war. Wir würden beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall ein Auto mieten, um einfacher einkaufen zu können. Wir würden unseren Urlaub definitiv wieder hier verbringen. Die Lage ist perfekt, sehr privat, und trotzdem gibt es in nur 10 Gehminuten Entfernung viel zu unternehmen. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Dass alle Zimmer ein eigenes Bad hatten, machte es noch besser. Der Pool ist perfekt; wir haben unsere eigenen Schwimmreifen mitgebracht und waren den ganzen Tag drinnen und draußen. Der Grillplatz im Freien und die Kühlbox waren perfekt!

Wichtig vor der Abreise: Wenn Sie wie wir mit einem Minivan anreisen, ist die Unterkunft nicht zu erreichen. Die Zufahrt ist eine steile und enge Straße. Der Minivan ließ uns stehen, und wir navigierten uns so gut es ging mit unserem mitgebrachten Auto durch. Das ist schwierig, wenn man mit Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität, Rollstühlen, Gehhilfen usw. reist. Ein weiterer, wichtiger Punkt: Der Eigentümer hat seinen eigenen Stromtarif. Das bedeutet, dass er bei Überschreitung des Limits den Betrag von der Kaution abzieht. Wir haben die Klimaanlagen nicht oft benutzt; wir haben sie zweimal täglich in jedem Zimmer eingeschaltet (sie laufen 2,5 Stunden und schalten sich dann automatisch ab), und er wollte uns 50 € extra berechnen. Es ist heiß, und einige Zimmer gehen nicht nach draußen, sondern in den Innenhof, und man muss die Klimaanlage einschalten. Denken Sie daran, wenn Sie nicht extra zahlen möchten. Darüber hinaus ist die Unterkunft sehr schön, jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer und der Pool und die Terrasse sind ideal.
