Had a lovely stay in the one bedroom apartment with it's comfortable and roomy seating area and good size kitchen if you don't feel like eating out. Excellent location close to the high street, restaurants & shops Castle & Gardens and Barter Books. Tracy the owner was so friendly and helpful.

Location is very good for the centre of Alnwick, no parking on site but we managed to find free parking nearby. Tracy met us on arrival and was friendly and gave us some recommendations for the local area- thank you! The buildings and rooms are in need of modernising and maintenance, but aren’t terrible.

A great location with easy access to Northumbrian Coast and great places to eat in Alnwick. Friendly staff and the room was nice and warm. However, room was dated and not as clean as you would normally expect.

Nice clean room and bathroom with a comfy bed. Felt very welcomed with the owner Tracy going above and beyond. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided in the room as well as toiletries and towels in the bathroom. She also provided a categorise list of places to eat which was very useful. The guest house is in a great location as it is central to everything and was good value for money. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative was that the en-suite had a bit of a drains smell to it.

The only thing going for this place was the central location, near to historic sites and restaurants. The faults were many. It was advertised as a B&B, but breakfasts had ceased in June of this year. the room was shabby and claustrophobic. dust and grime were apparent throughout. the shower room was cramped and mould was apparent. The shower hose and head were caked in mould. no hot water available. the room suffered from dampness and subsequently our clothes were damp after hanging in the wardrobe. The damp smell was masked by overpowering air fresheners. the room windows were not able to open, so no fresh air and an inability to open/close blinds. our room was on the ground floor, next to the lobby and the noise was unacceptable when guests were entering/leaving. there was no housekeeping carried out in our room.
