「The property is set on 26 acres on a “small” river (Big Thompson River) in Estes Park. The grounds are nice, and set up as a wedding (or event) venue. They have a good bit of frontage along the river, with benches interspersed. We stayed in “Shooting Star” in the main building’s second (top) floor. 「The room was very clean and the suite came with more then enough towels and other amenities for our stay and the trails and river were also great to walk through and enjoy. If I return to estees I will go back to stonebrook. The short drive into town makes traversing estees easy while still being away from the majority of traffic」

「We stayed here for two nights while visiting Rocky Mountain National park. The property is very convenient to the park. I wouldn’t call this a resort but more a collection of cabins. The surrounding yard is fairly rough and cabins are older but well maintained inside. Nice to have a hot tub in the unit but it does make it a bit humid and warm. 「The rooms are very small, but clean. It has the feel of a 1960s roadside motel. The mattress was OK but not great. The pool was a lot of fun. The staff was wonderful.」

Had elk walk through the property while we were there! Check in and out was fantastic and the price was reasonable! They have a storage room we had 24 hour access to with most our needs. 「The staff was lovely and kind. The main pool and our hot tub were both really well maintained and clean. The carpet in the cabin had really large stains which were very unsightly. There was a great deal of dust on the furniture and ledges. The most disappointing aspect was that the wifi was down for most of our stay and I needed to work over the week. This made my work a challenge. Overall though it was a lovely vacation and we enjoyed ourselves. Everyone is so friendly.」

「Staff were nice location spot on and loved the heated pool although some sun umbrellas would have been appreciated. The hotel itself is dated and a bit shabby reminiscent of a cheap roadside motel. Expensive for what it is but I guess you are paying for the location!」
