Fawcett Road is perched above the town, a short walk down the town steps to the colourful high street and, beyond, the long shingle beach and the sea. Interiors are elegant and spacious with three wonderful reception spaces - a sociable living/kitchen/dining area opening to the fully enclosed courtyard, a study and family room; upstairs are four bedrooms (2 SK, king and bunk), a bathroom, shower room, and cloakroom.
You’re welcomed into a tiled hallway with the carpeted stairs rising ahead of you, the open plan living/kitchen/dining area to your left, and the family room and study to your right.
LIVING/KITCHEN/DINING ROOM Enjoy indoor/outdoor living in this light and airy L shaped room with sliding doors from the dining area to the courtyard for summer living. Conveniently next to the dining table and chairs is the kitchen with the central island overlooking the lounge area, which is furnished with a beautiful big sofa, comfy chair and a wood burner for cosy evenings. There are also three bar stools at the island so guests can sit and chat to the chef of the family. The modern kitchen is equipped with a Rangemaster double oven with five ring hob and extractor, an American style fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine (standard pod size) with milk-frother, plus the essential kettle and toaster. FAMILY ROOM This stylish room with shuttered windows is the ideal place for family and friends to sit back and relax in the deep sofa or cuddle seat to watch the TV, with additional corner seating if needed. Shelves are stacked with a wide selection of books to choose from when you’re ready for some quiet time.
STUDY A handy room for any guests needing to work from home, simply furnished with a handsome desk and chair. There’s also space for coats and the washing machine is housed in the cupboard here.
COURTYARD A little sun trap with doors opening to the dining area for al-fresco meals, and space to leave bikes or push chairs safely.

BUNK BEDROOM Ideal for little guests, with sturdy bunk beds and a ladder to climb to the top one. There is a pull out bed which you're welcome to use if it suits your family, however the total occupancy mustn't exceed eight guests and please bring your own linen.
BATHROOM Sandwiched between the front and twin bedrooms, this modern bathroom has a large bath with both a rain and hand-held shower heads, a WC, wash basin with storage beneath, a heated towel rail (towels will be supplied for all guests) and natural light.
SHOWER ROOM Also off the landing, opposite the main bedroom, the large walk-in shower has hand and rain shower heads and there’s a WC, wash basin, and heated towel rail.
PARKING Located on the corner of Park Lane and Fawcett Road, this elegant semi-detached house is in one of the best locations in town as there's generally unrestricted roadside parking available close by, yet you're just a short walk down the town steps into the heart of town and the beach.
Please note that the house is more suited to two couples or a family of eight due to the bed configurations with the twins being smalle than standard size, and bunk beds.
