"It's a nice hotel. Very new and very stylish. However, their breakfast service could have been better. The staff seemed uninterested in checking on the guests, and also forgot requests made by guests. The breakfast area was clean, comfortable and spacious. The cut fruits were delicious - amongst the best I have had in a long time. But other breakfast items were very average. Surprisingly, their in-room dining service was excellent. Their UmAli dessert is a must-try. Special shout out to Mohamed who brought meals to my room on two occassions for his courtesy and professionalism. The housekeeping staff also did a great job. They need to tag their two entrances (on opposite sides) on Google maps because Uber drivers and customers often get confused on where exactly the pick up is. While the hotel is strategically located close yo Al-Balad, there isn't much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. "

"Booked 2 family suites. They gave us one and we had to tell them to give us the suite we booked and changed rooms. Then we got to the rooms and no towels. Asked for 6 towels since there were 3 people staying in each room, and they only gave us 2 towels saying that they didn’t have enough so we had to share. There were stains on the bedsheets and floor. No shower curtains so water dripped everywhere"

"I had the worst customer service experience with Mbaat. I booked a property in mid-July and paid in full upfront through Expedia. On check-in day, we were left waiting a long time with my kids while the staff claimed no payment was made. Even after I sent proof via WhatsApp, I received no response for a while, then was told the payment was “not complete.” I had to call Expedia to resolve the issue. Because of this experience, I will never return to Mbaat or recommend them to family and friends."
