Beachfront Penthouse Condo with Two Oceanview King Suites

Playa Caribe 11 crowns the central tower of one of Half Moon Bay’s most established beachfront residences. This two-bedroom penthouse has been carefully designed for couples, friends, or small families who want both privacy and space. Each bedroom features a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and private oceanfront balcony. The master and guest suites are cooled with central air conditioning, ensuring restful sleep after sunny days by the sea.

The open-concept living and dining area is equally inviting, with sliding glass doors opening to a furnished terrace overlooking the Caribbean. A fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar makes preparing meals simple, whether it’s morning coffee with sunrise views or dinner at home after a day of exploring.

Guests enjoy shared amenities such as the beachfront swimming pool, BBQ grill, loungers, and outdoor shower. Concierge support, daily housekeeping, purified water, beach towels, and parking are included for a seamless stay.

This is a fourth-floor unit without elevator access, best suited for guests comfortable with stairs. Half Moon Bay’s shoreline is mixed sand and coral, so water shoes are recommended when swimming or snorkeling. Daily housekeeping service is provided. Parking, beach towels, and purified drinking water are provided.

KINDLY NOTE: During the summer months, south winds may bring Sargasso Seaweed to some beaches throughout the Caribbean, including the Riviera Maya. Please know that our onsite teams work very hard to ensure the best possible beach conditions for your stay. As a consideration, you may also see special seasonal discounts applied to during the summer months.

The Riviera Maya is full of natural beauty, places to explore and opportunities for outdoor activities. We have a great list of activities and adventures completely unaffected by the arrival of sargasso that we would love to share with you. Half Moon Bay is a stunning location with amazing reef snorkelling straight from this top-quality, beachside property. Look no further!The property is well appointed and decorated with colourful paintings and atmospheric touches throughout. It was spotlessly clean and the daily maid service was very much appreciated. The on-site staff were very pleasant and helpful although in truth we didn't need to trouble them much. The pool area id very nice with an ample number of sun loungers. There are a few local bars and restaurants within walking distance so a car is unnecessary.We look forward to our return!

Fantastic Condo!

We absolutely loved this condo! We were there strictly just to relax and have some peace and quiet. the staff was right there anytime we needed it, but also left us alone to enjoy our privacy. We had the top unit and the views were to die for! It was extremely clean, nice towels and linens and the beds were super comfortable! We would 100% stay there again.

Very nice place, tropical and classy, beautiful views

The condo was really nice. The bay was beautiful and good for snorkeling. We had some sargazo issues half the time we were there, but that's to be expected. It seemed to collect right in front of our condo in the bay, so we had to walk down the beach a little bit to get in the water. Not a problem. In august, the water is like a hot bath, but that's also to be expected. We stayed in the penthouse, 4 flights of stairs gave us a workout. Both of the bedrooms have an ocean view deck in the center units, that was the main selling point. The only real drawback has to do with the surrounding neighborhood. Everything closes no later than 9pm, Everything. It's crazy. It's a great low key couples or loner place, but if you want any kind of night life, stay in Playa. We wanted to stay in between Tulum and Playa, and close to cenotes, so we chose Akumal. Playa del Carmen was fine, Tulum kinda sucked. The cenotes near by were a nice cool respite from the warm ocean waters. Would I come back to Akumal? Probably not, but not because of the Playa Caribe, it was really nice. However, we qshould have stayed on a lower floor. One thing to note: we tried to contact both of the contacts on the info sheet in the condo via Whatsapp as recommended, but they never responded.

Playa caribe condo 11 was an amazing stay! First off. The. View. Whao. It was in the literal center of half moon bay, so we were in the middle of everything! The local restaurants were so yummy and amazing priced! Yal-ku and Dos Ojos were amazing adventures and the contact email answered all my questions for our adventures. Th3 cobdo itself was clean, the sheets were super soft. Staff were all so nice. I couldnt have asked for a better first visit to Alumal!

Breathtaking

Property was amazing! Exactly what was in the photos if not better. When you opened the door you knew you were in paradise! Location was ideal and everything was within walking distance. Some seaweed on the beach but that didn't deter us enjoy all that Alkumal had to offer. We want to thank our cleaning lady for the terrific job and attention to detail. We will definitely return to Alkumal!

Property was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the fresh fruit that was placed in fruit bowl. Did have an issue with ants but it was taken care of within 24 hours. No one was there to greet us, nor was their anyone onsite. We were a little unsure of how to get in or where to park but ended up figuring it out. Once inside the view took our breathe away. Description and pictures were accurate. Plenty of towels and supplies. Brochure was very much appreciated as well!

Akumal Condo

Beautiful condo in a really safe feeling area, with kind and accomodating staff on-site. Sargassum stopped us from using the beach much, but we swam in Yal-ku Lagoon and there was no sargassum there, plus there are nearby cenotes. The deck was a highlight and the breeze generally kept the smell of the sargassum from overwhelming us while on the deck. It was very quiet and you can hear the ocean while you sleep. All the beds are very firm, a bit too much so for my family, but would stay there again.

The condo was absolutely stunning, and the facilities were very well kept and clean. However, we weren't warned the seaweed would be bad this time of year, and not offered any compensation for the inability to use the beach or open the windows due to the smell.

Super nice management group and the employees were wonderful. I know weather conditions change but just be aware that the beach can be non existent, the seaweed can completely take over and when it does the pool is tiny so you can’t retreat there. Also, the WiFi is marginal at best. All four of us got sick too. Lol. Love the Akumal area for sure but we would not return to this unit.

Penthouse has great views! 2 bedrooms with their own bathrooms! Maid service was great. Concierge’s response was great and he was helpful. Golf carts available for rent right on the property. But, there isn’t an elevator in the building.

Akumal Beach front

The beach front condo was a two bedroom two bath beach front. Beach is so beautiful snorkeling was fantastic. Condo very clean and very nice. BUT deck roofing is a home to many bats which means lots of bat poop. Had to deal with this every morning until maid cleaned up.
