「This was exactly the space we needed after a small apartment in Athens. House is a nice size for 2 adults and 3 kids. Girls loved the yard and the kid toys provided. The pool was too cold to swim in much in May, but was nice to have. The location is great, it feels so private and remote, but is a short drive to some great beaches. It was nice to have a tub to bath the kids. A couple of things would have made my stay even better, a larger pillow selection, pillows were very firm; provide beach...

「We had a fantastic week. If you're after privacy and away from the busy tourist areas, then villa Jokasta will deliver. The villa lived up to to it's description and did not disappoint. A hire/rental car is essential, and the roads to villa are an adventure. But, once at the villa the drive is soon forgotten.A small maintenance issue with 1 of the toilets. But as there are 3 bathrooms in the villa it really wasn't an inconvenience. An email to the owner to report the problem received a reply...

「Yes, host was very accommodating. Met us there and gave us the rundown. I wouldn't change my rating for it but best to know that it is a long drive on winding mountain roads to get there. Once there though the place is quite unique and roomy. Definitely feel you are on a mountainous hillside in Crete - cats, goats donkeys and all! 」
