"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The mattresses were very comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep, and the shower was excellent. They did a great job keeping everything organized and making sure guests had what they needed. Breakfast itself was simple but good. The hotel also provides laundry facilities, which is very convenient when staying several days. It’s helpful to have that option available during a longer trip. Overall, the stay was comfortable and convenient. The rooms were cozy, the beds were great, and it was easy to relax after a busy day. "If I could, I would give this hotel zero stars. The check-in process took forever. Breakfast was practically nonexistent — people stood in a long line for omelets, and there wasn’t even enough for everyone. With only one waiter on the floor, getting coffee or a refill was nearly impossible. If a hotel advertises breakfast included, it’s reasonable to expect a decent meal. To make matters worse, a month later the hotel called demanding an extra $22 “hotel charge,” even though everything had already been prepaid online. Be aware of hidden charges if you stay at Anthracite Hotel."
