"The property is very family friendly with a homey, rustic, woodland cabin vibe. The loft upstairs with two twin beds is perfect for children--my six year old loved playing with the vintage Dora the Explorer dollhouse and the toy kitchen. The foosball table and pingpong table in the basement were also a huge hit with the other kids. The hot tub was clean and worked well and had a nice view of Charles Town and great sunset views. The sofa in the living room was comfortable and there were sufficient pots and pans in the kitchen for cooking. There was a slight mouse problem in the kitchen but the owners are addressing it promptly and it's a cabin in a wooded area, so not that surprising. We were not prepared for the roads on the way to the cabin--they were steep with no shoulder and were the width of a one-way road, but with two-way traffic. We avoided driving them at night. There are also lots of deer near the road. Overall, a fun and relaxing stay."

"We were a group of nine ladies for a fifth birthday. We had plenty of places for people to sleep. We enjoyed floating and hanging out at the pool. One night we had a great time around the outdoor fireplace. Plenty of seating. Having a second fridge/pantry area was very useful. One night we were fancy and hired the personal chef that they recommended and had a fabulous dinner in the dining room."
