"It’s the second time I’ve stayed in this hotel. I really like the location and the staff and the rooms both times were very very nice for a reasonable price. It is a little bit of a maze finding the way to the room and back the first time but that comes with the charm of the building"

"Bathroom was small but clean. I loved the breakfast room and variety of dishes. This hotel is conveniently located near the train station but very quiet and homey. The hallway and room are beautifully decorated in renaissance style and made me feel special."

"This is one of the most unique hotels I have ever stayed at. It's themed for Dante's Inferno so there are Heaven rooms and Hell rooms. We booked a basic Heaven room and were upgraded to a room with a balcony. The room was clean and spacious, but it's important to note that the bathrooms are not the most private. There is one area for the shower and another for the toilet - both have frosted plexiglass doors but the sound travels. To me, this is a property for couples - I can't imagine staying here with kids. There are several amenities like a nice gym and a billiards room. The lobby is also very large and comfortable - it was a good place to relax before our evening train to Rome. We added the breakfast which was adequate and convenient. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this property."

"Super charming and stylish (traditional Florentine) hotel. Many rooms (eg mine) overlook beautiful Piazza Santa Maria Novella and its church. Lovely views. Nice bathroom, very professional and friendly service from all the personnel there. The street level bar (inside outside sections) seem to be favored by cool locals as well as guests. The food menu covered lots of bases and everything I sampled was delicious. Check out the Napoleon salon! "
