"The property’s gardens are spectacular, and the history of the original house is really special. That said, the room I stayed in felt a bit outdated, and we were without power for a full day during our stay. There’s a lot of potential here to make the hotel truly shine and better highlight the original concept and character of the property."

"Room was spacious, clean, private and comfortable -- excellent value for the price. Staff were friendly and attentive. The property is lovely and peaceful, yet there's a nice lively feel because of the on-site tennis club and workshops that take place. Breakfast ("Veracruzano") at the restaurant was delicious and other meals were also good."
