It's incredible that you can stay in such a place at a reasonable price. This whole hotel is an ex monastery that was converted to a hotel. The decorations and ambiance are exquisite. My room was probably one of the quietest places I've ever been in - maybe it's the legacy of the monastery. Breakfast was great. Dinner was ok but not that special, so next time I would explore some other restaurant in the area - dinner was perfectly fine though.

David at the front desk was enormously helpful. He arranged for multiple taxis (and was able to direct a taxi to my location when I got lost!) He's very knowledgeable about the area and clearly wanted to help us explore and enjoy Oursense as much as we possibly could while we were there.

We just loved this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. We used the spa accommodations daily, it was so relaxing & filled all the boxes of what we like to do. The hotel grounds, our room & all amenities were clean & beautiful. The food was exceptional in the restaurant & the waiter was very polite & accommodating. We would absolutely make a return trip & highly recommend to anyone traveling through Galicia.

We loved our big room with a wraparound balcony and a nice bathroom and shower. The view was beautiful and Allariz was a nice, small town with a lot to do. Breakfast was also well appointed and yummy and the staff was helpful.

Small but nice hotel

Parking was a little hard to find.

The hotel boasts pools and spa, but both closed early in the evening and were occupied by a private group in the morning. The shower floods the bathroom floor (poor design, nothing was broken). Overall, everything was fine and comfortable, it just wasn’t as luxurious as I’d expected.

Beautiful Monastery, confortable beds and the receptionist was extremely helpful (Javier) with the tour and restaurant recommendations

This is one of the most beautiful historical sites in this area of Ourense and the perfect place to have a nice relaxing time in the middle of a great forest and near a very nice town.
