"I had a 3 days / 2 night half board stay. We had a great room with a great view of Matsushima Bay. The room is large with a personal onsen in which we can soak our tired bodies as much and as long as possible. However, as this is a small hotel, the 3 public onsen is not crowded and you can spent alot of 'me' time enjoying the hot soak. Beside the good onsen, the food is super great as we had: - 9 course refined Japanese dinner with fresh sashimi and hot pot - 7 course refined Japanese breakfast...

"Had a fantastic experience at the Hotel El Faro! Highly recommend staying at this great hotel in a really cool town. The surrounding area is quiet and the port is close. There are newly built shops and restaurants. There’s even a small onsen right by the hotel. The cabin I stayed in was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bed was very comfy and cosy. There is free parking onsite. Overall, amazing experience and I’m really happy I stayed here. Onagawa is a great little town!"
