「The property offers a lot of activities so it’s convenient that way. The free breakfast is buffet and they also have dinner buffet for $30USD. Staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend this place if you have a big group and want to do multiple excursions in one place.」

「Our stay at Villas Sol was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had, and I feel obligated to warn other travelers. At check-in we were told that the pool with the swim-up bar, jacuzzi and Spa were closed. These closures were not communicated before arrival. We booked a Premium Ocean Villa and our first room had an obstructed ocean view and rock-hard beds. Management did change our room to the correct room, after we complained. 「The staff was amazingly friendly, the food was wonderful and the only problem was in the steep climb to our room! A staff member took my bag to the room for me so all I had to do was get up there myself (luckily) I am sure younger people would not have a problem.」

「We arrived early from our last stay and they accommodated us by giving us free range of the grounds until 1 of our 2 rooms was ready. In short, it would be a great place to stay for families with young kids or people who don't particularly like to leave resort grounds. Garishly painted and not near anything (Rincòn de la Vieja park entrance is over an hour away)」

「We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and loved the full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and outdoor seating area. The pool is large and warm and we had it all to ourselves all 3 days we went swimming. (Closes at 7pm so slight improvement would be longer hours.) Grocery store a couple minute walk away so very convenient if you want to get supplies for some meals. Location would feel inconvenient if you do not have a rental car. (Beach access is a long walk). But with a car we loved how it was central to so...

「The villas are very cool, we got the one with a kitchen, swam in the pool every evening, enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. Only 2 blocks to the water easy walk. The staff are very personable, had a lot of fun with them, the grounds crew is always working to keep the beautiful grounds maintained and they have a gated covered and secured parking garage.」
