We had a wonderful stay at Echor Tree Mandara Village. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, great location and kind staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the restaurant was delicious. It also has a beautiful view of the mountains and Dharamshala. Highly recommended and will be staying again when back!

The service here was exceptional and friendly, and the rooms were absolutely beautiful. Coming back at night felt like stepping into my own Buddhist shrine. Great breakfast and overall very good restaurant. And if being able to pop over to the Dalai Lama's temple easily is important to you, it would be almost impossible to beat this location. You're walking distance to everything in Mcleod here, and a cheap taxi or a nice work-out walk to everything from Dharamkot/Tushita meditation center to...

A unique gem, hidden away in McLeod Ganj. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Rooms feature world class facilities. Breakfast buffet is excellent and includes expresso drinks. A nice bar with a view. Rooms facing the valley have a nice view, They also have a full spa and gym onsite. Its also very close to the center of the area and is accessed by narrow city streets. Reception is great at arranging taxis to take you to local destinations. If you are...

It was an amazing stay. Everything was outstanding. I will definitely return and recommend to others. The location is stunning. The attached photo is from my room's balcony.

The folks at the New Serkong House provided us with a warm welcome and peaceful stay before and after our 10 days at Tushita Meditation Center. We were grateful for their hospitality and appreciated their assistance and advice. We especially enjoyed having a beverage on their cafe’s open balcony overlooking the valley as eagles soared by and the sun set over the mountains.

All great.

Awesome place next to a monastery. Staff is very friendly and always with a smile.

Large bathroom with good shower . Very clean room close to eateries and attractions but in a quiet area for a good night’s sleep . Staff helped with securing a driver for sightseeing and transportation. I would stay again next time I go back to Dharamsala.

My wife and I along with two friends stayed here in our trip to Dharamsala. We selected this hotel based off of the pictures on-line and glad we did. We arrived at about 5:30AM with no lights on, front gate locked and no sign of any staff. We were afraid we would be sitting on the front porch until someone showed up later in the morning. We ended up walking around a bit and one of the staff heard us, got out of bed and checked us in. He asked us what time we wanted breakfast and let us freshen...

The hotel clean the staff friendly

Super place

Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful. The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect. Mrs Sonia at the reception was very welcoming and kind, made us feel comfortable right from the start. Overall, a simple, peaceful stay...

A Peaceful and Memorable Stay at Norling House I had a wonderful stay at Norling House in Norbulingka, India. The property is beautifully decorated with traditional Tibetan elements, creating a warm, peaceful, and welcoming atmosphere. The food and service were excellent. I especially appreciated the chef’s thoughtful gesture of preparing traditional Tibetan bread just for me. It was a lovely personal touch. Since I visited shortly after the monsoon season, the room was a little humid. When I...

The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is really good and conveniently located. The location is ideal. An d there is a yoga school on site with daily classes. The spa is also on site and offers outstanding massages. It should be noted, however, that there is some construction happening on site and there are some guests that keep very late hours and can create a disturbance for those sleeping. Overall an excellent experience and I will return.

We, as a family, had wonderful experiences at this Hotel. Checkin was smooth. Food was awesome. View from the room were breathtaking, beautiful! It rained overnight very heavily and experienced a water leak in some areas, but Hotel staff was very prompt in responding to the situation. Checkout had a glitch with International credit cards, but managed with UPI payment options. One word of caution though, this place is not for the faint hearted people, its very stiff climb up the stairs to top...

Nice room, good location, watch out for monkeys. Very cold in March still
