The surrounding area is very new and there is a nice riverside walk you can reach via the mercedes benz arena. In short, this is a great place to stay ! "

"We stayed here for a week and it was wonderful! Clean, quiet, staff was excellent and very professional and everyone we dealt with spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet was huge and delicious with many western and eastern options. "I like the big room, cleanliness, and nice staff. The only thing needs improvement is the noise. The rooms aren't sound-proof. The doors on everyone's rooms also automatically slam shut really loud. If you or someone doesn't carefully shut their doors, you can hear it throughout the building."

"A great place to stay. Very close to the airport and metro (15mins) with a free hourly shuttle bus. We used that service to visit the tourists sites in the city - very easy. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and spacious and breakfast was excellent. It is in a semi industrial area but it’s only a 20min walk to shops snd restaurants if you need them. The hotel restaurant suited us well with a good menu and inexpensive. We would stay again "

"This hotel is in a fantastic location (thanks to the staff for sending a map, it is down the darker end of the street), super close to East Nanjing Rd and the Bund. The person at the desk upgraded us to a bigger room as we had to wait a while to check in. The room was indeed bigger than we'd booked and very comfortable, just with some open steps up to the bed that were a little scary in the dark! Everything was fine for us as a cheap one-night stay in Shanghai, no issues. Free bottled water was...
