"The good: Love the location of this hotel, we were an 11 minute walk from the Louvre and we found navigating really easy. There’s plenty of cold water to drink in the kitchen and the place was very clean. The front desk was helpful- the rooms don’t come with irons or shampoo but they can be provided if you ask. The not as good: Check-in was almost forty minutes past when we were told (3:35 instead of 3). Not the biggest deal in the world, but after 15 hours of travel it was an inconvenience. We also had to track down the house cleaner to refill toilet paper- she cleaned our room but didn’t give us TP. The elevator is big enough for one person only, so if you’re claustrophobic just plan on not using it at all. The bad: Our room was TINY. Can’t sit on the toilet without your knees touching the sink. No room for large suitcases. I’ve stayed in hostel rooms that were larger. Curiously, my friends and I all booked the same room (single full bed) and their rooms were significantly bigger. So I guess it’s luck of the draw? My partner is 6 ft 2 and the room was so small he really struggled to get dressed and move around. There was no working AC so the rooms were very hot. We slept with the windows open. All in all, a great budget hotel if you’re looking for a place to sleep and nothing else."
