「Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. The private trail was a moderate hike to a gorgeous waterfall and was a great taste of the beauty of the area without the crowds of Tenorio. Our 6 year-old loved seeing the red-eyed tree...

「Volcano view was right there and the walk to the center was very close. Also for nightlife there was a nightclub nearby, and a local super/ liquor store.」

「The room had the absolute minimum of amenities and the staff would not provide anymore as requested. The bathroom tile work was long over due for replacement and there was a long hole in the wall below the air conditioner. There was no parking and no sign to indicate where the hostel was located. We decided not to stay and the staff and manager refused to refund any portion of the charged 5 day cost. I would recomment avoiding this property completely!」

「The nicest people and wonderful hosts. I mentioned that we would be celebrating our daughter’s bday while we were there and they knocked on the door with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a candle and sang Feliz cumpleanos. It was the sweetest thing and so special for our family. It was such a kind gesture and it set the tone for the rest of our time there. Breakfast was a lovely production. We entered the dining room and they just started bringing out entree after entree, fruit, eggs, gallo...

「What an amazing stay! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The grounds were stunning and well kept. The views of Arenal were a highlight! And the breakfast was amazing, from the foot, to the service, to the vibe! The gallo pinto was actually our favorite throughout our whole multi-city trip!! We absolutely loved our stay and would most definitely go back again!」
