We loved the bear décor, and the host was nice to work with.One helpful note for future visitors (completely unrelated to the host or property): restaurants and shops in downtown Clayton don’t open until 11:00 AM. With a 10:00 AM checkout from the property, you may want to plan ahead for breakfast or morning activities."

"Highly recommended!! An exceptional home and location for just the two of us. The home’s interior space and furnishings were clean and so comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. The gorgeous views, so very quiet, the clean air and roomy porch with rocking chairs were all perfect and made it hard to leave!! "

"Quaint little trailer in the woods. The plug in heater didn't work, but no big deal (we tried to use it on the front porch one night). We should have brought chairs for sitting around the fire pit. There is built in sitting and a couple of benches around the pit but they are NOT comfortable and you can't move the massive benches to sit BY the fire. So bring your camp chairs if you want to sit close by and feel the warmth of the fire. Area is pretty quiet considering you're mere yards from a main road (hwy 441). Only one of the beds will actually fit 2 adults. Our guests had to sleep separately because both couldn't comfortably in the double bed. Most adult couples need a queen or king. So one slept in the double bed and the other had to sleep in the added on room (twin bed). Was not ideal, but we dealt with it. Place was clean and neat. "

"Really enjoyed being snowed-in for the weekend here. Spent time playing in the snow, watching TV on the comfy couch, playing cards, and the wood burning stove was a favorite. Bed was very comfortable too. Super close to Dillard. Has everything you need and Jennifer was super responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay again. "

"Came to this cabin in hopes to see snow. Didn’t know we were coming during a snow storm and ended up getting about 8-10 inches of snow. Lisa was checking in on us the entire trip and really made us feel safe in the weather conditions that we were unfamiliar with. Would definitely book again. "
